Along with Pablo Picasso the world of art appreciates a row of talented and famous abstract artists. Despite your own likings you are to know the names of painters who delivered into this world plenty of impressive and inspiring masterpieces that can be defined by their unique technique and special style as well an individual approach to understanding of abstract art.

Surely, Pablo Picasso can be referred to the most recognizable painters in the world whose paintings cost a fortune if not to say more. This artist was specializing in cubism while was creating his famous abstract pieces - "Sleeping Gypsy" and "Guernica". Sometimes Picasso is not related completely with abstract style of painting but he was a prominent figure in the Cubist movement. His ideas and an innovative approach in development of the classic abstract technique paved the way to the brand new generation of the talented abstract artists.

Salvador Dali is another significant personality who became famous thanks to his surrealistic masterpieces like "Sleep" or "The Persistence of Memory". He is a well-known extravagant author who used in his shocking works quite bizarre themes. Dali left a huge legacy not just through his painting but also transferred his ideas via films, photos and sculptures. A bright and genius mind is reflected in his immortal works.

Along with Picasso and Dali the leader of abstract art was the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky who basically created the first abstract painting ever in pure sense of this style. Among his famous art pieces are "Composition X." and "Autumn in Bavaria".
