I am a graduate of Buffalo State College (1980) with a BA in graphic design with a strong study area in fine arts and film theory. I have worked in the graphic design field for 28 years. I was, until the company recently went out of business, Art Director for Automart Magazine. I was once the Art Director and Editor of the now-defunct entertainment paper, Metro Weekend. In addition to graphic art, I like to draw and to paint, primarily male figure studies. I also design posters, playbill covers and season brochures for the New Phoenix Theatre. I also write the video column for Outcome and About magazines. I have collected all of these gay film reviews (10 years worth) onto a self-designed website www.cinemaqueer.com
Local Color Gallery I am primarily a graphic artist and printmaker. Having worked with traditional methods of making art for many years, I am now working with many new ways to design and make prints as well as other forms of creative expression. I work in my studio at the Tri-Main Building and exhibit my work at Local Color Gallery.
