Trips with the Art Council
The Arts Council of Buffalo will be actively creating an Art Trips & Tours Program. We have tested the waters and have a great enthusiastic group of Board Members, Members & Friends and Staff. We have enjoyed trips to Toronto and Corning, New York with many exciting trips to come. You can help by sharing your ideas of exhibitions or places you would like to see by contacting Board Member, Mary Joy Buscemi (716-603-6630) or Executive Director Celeste Lawson (716-856-7520) with ideas that we'll gladly follow up. Our mission is to create reasonably priced trips that incorporate many of the fine arts, design, culinary arts, dance, spoken word or musical arts, theater to enhance our understanding and awareness and enjoyments of the ARTS.
September 29th, 2007 Corning Museum of Glass - Rockwell Museum of Western Art
The energy and spirit of this group was just awesome…we had just a fantastic day starting with a lovely and relaxing ride by grand coach luxury bus. We visited the incredible Corning Glass Museum and watched a glass blowing demonstration, visited the Rockwell Museum of Western Art and shopped on Market Street then finished the evening with fine dinning at the Glen Iris Inn at Letchworth State Park. A great time was had by all with many new friendships. A great way to save on our trips & tours is to become a member of the Arts Council today. Contact Gerald Burgin at the Arts Council for more information (716) 856-7520.
