Upcoming Grant Application WorkshopsDEC/KEY Grant Application Information SeminarsThe Arts Council in Buffalo & Erie County has begun its process of funding arts programs and projects within Erie County. The Arts Council will be offering grants through its Decentralization Program (DEC), Decentralization Individual Artist Tier (DEC IND) and the KeyArts Program (KEYArts).The DEC, which is funded by the New York State Council on the Arts, supports arts projects and programs offered by arts and community organizations representing the artistic, geographic, racial, and ethnic diversity of Erie County. The DEC IND Tier supports the creation of new work through an artist initiated and led project that engages a community. The KEYArts, funded by KeyBank, assists nonprofit cultural organizations in identifying additional sources of revenue through the implementation of a group sales program/project with emphasis on attracting new audiences and utilizing innovative marketing and sales techniques. In order to apply for a DEC, DEC IND or KeyARTS grant, attendance at an application seminar listed below is mandatory:
